Take part in our National Survey
We value your experiences and opinion as a renal patient in Ireland and we want to hear what you have to say about your renal treatment and care within the Irish health care system.
Therefore, the IKA would like to invite you to partake in an anonymous survey led by the Health Psychology Research team at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and the HSE National Renal Office.
The survey contains 3 sections and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
We ask that Haemodialysis and Peritoneal dialysis patients complete the introduction questions and section 1 and 2. Transplant recipients are asked to complete the introduction questions and section 3 of the survey. Again, your survey answers are anonymous and the information you share will not be traced back to you.
In another research study, the RCSI research team will also be holding focus group interviews online (Microsoft teams) and in person (at Donor House, Park West, Co. Dublin) with renal patients from June – August 2023. You are also invited to participate and will receive a €50 One4All voucher for engaging in the focus groups. Your identity will be anonymous in the focus groups, and your real name won’t be used.
