While it is disappointing patients with kidney disease are advised to take extra precautions and restrict visitors, it seems very sensible given the medical vulnerability of patients with kidney disease.

We are actively working to ensure the current vaccination allocation priority is changed, so patients with end stage kidney disease are allocated to the same priority group as nursing home residents. This would be more consistent with their medical vulnerability

So while the office will be closed from the 24th of December, re-opening on the 4th of January,  we will continue to work on this issue.

We are planning many events for 2021 and will be in touch soon.
