The Irish Kidney Association Waterford Branch together with Haleon have joined forces in a wonderful partnership to raise vital funds and awareness for the Waterford Branch and the National Kidney Support Centre at Beaumont Hospital.

The Waterford Branch IKA, along with the National Kidney Support Centre at Beaumont, were honoured to be selected as Haleons’ charity partner for the year. Staff members voted for their preferred charity, and thanks to the incredible support and of Haleon employees, the IKA received the highest number of nominations. This marks the beginning of a meaningful year-long partnership between Haleon and its dedicated staff.

As part of the partnership, Haleon employees will take part in a month-long walking programme beginning on June 1st and concluding on June 27th with a special charity walk from Kilmacthomas to Walton Park, Abbeyside, Dungarvan. a remarkable 26-kilometre trek along the Greenway. Walton Park will come alive on the day with music, food, and bouncy castles as the walkers are welcomed across the finish line. The event promises to be a wonderful community celebration while raising awareness of organ donation and supporting the invaluable work of the IKA.
