The Mini Marathon is back for its 44nd year, taking place on Sunday, 31st May, 2026.

The Mini Marathon is an annual 10k charity road race and is the largest Women’s event of its kind in the world!

Women taking part in the event choose which charity they will support and raise funds for, and any local causes gain vital funds from the event. The Vhi Women’s Mini marathon is one of the largest one-day charity events in the country.

2026 Ring of Kerry places are now available.

This iconic cycling event, now in it’s 44rd year, takes place along one of the world’s most renowned touring routes. The Ring Of Kerry, an 170KM circular route starting and ending in the beautiful town of Killarney.

IKA Joins 4,000 Cyclists for the 2025 Ring of Kerry Cycle

The Irish Kidney Association proudly participated in the iconic Ring of Kerry Cycle, an event that saw nearly 4,000 cyclists take to the roads for a remarkable cause. Among them, over 140 riders represented the IKA, many of whom are fundraising to support vital services for kidney patients across Ireland while raising organ donor awareness.

Thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to our charity cyclists’ in 2024.
We are so proud to announce a whopping €63,500 was raised!

We Are A Tier One Charity!

What does Tier One mean?

Each year the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle selects official main beneficiary charities. The Irish Kidney Association has been selected as one of the 9 beneficiary charities for 2025.

How is the money raised?
+

Your entry fee for the Cycle will go towards a fund which is split between all the nominated charities.

Once you’ve signed up, you will be sent a link to set up an iDonate fundraising page, which you can share with your friends and family to get them to sponsor you! All the money you raise via iDonate will go to the Irish Kidney Association.
